About me…
I’m graduated in Oceanography by the University of Vale do Itajaí in 2008,
where I was congratulated with the academic merit due of my eminence
in scientific researches and ethical attitudes. From 2003 to 2009 I
worked as an adjunct researcher in the fishery study group of the
University of Vale do Itajaí. During the same period I contributed to the
brazillian scientific demersal fisheries managment committee with
recommendations about deep-sea crabs fisheries and population
dynamics.
During the years of 2009 and 2010 I acted as fisheries statistical manager
of the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture (MPA) where I aimed to develop
and implement new statistical methods for monitoring fisheries catches and
efforts. Recently, I was consultant for the Ibero-american States Organization
(OEI) and Brazillian Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture (MPA) with the
responsability to consolidate the national fish statistical of fisheries and aquaculture.
I has experience in fisheries monitoring, statistical and geostatistical modelling
applied to fisheries, as well it´s managments.
Actually, I’m a grad student majoring in Environment Science and Technology
in the University of Vale do Itajaí, financed by the Federal State Governament
of Brazil (CAPES), as well as been an undergrad student majoring in Web based
Systems at the same University. Along with all that, I still work at the
Albatroz Task Force/BirdLife International - Albatroz Project from Brazil were
I’m responsable for the statistical modelling analysis of the fishing fleet impacts
over the sea birds.

Things there I find intersting…
I have a lot of intersting in Statistical and Geostatistical Modelling applied to
Ecology, Oceanography and Fisheries. The resolutions of environmental problems by
the aplication of math or statistics knowledgments are things that facinates
me.
Programming languages are other things that I like. The usuability of computacional
languages to solve environmental problems is another point of interest for me. I
am R user (… or addicted) since 2005, R is a free
software environment for statistical computing and graphics. I’m adept of
others opensource languages like LaTeX - LaTeX
is a high-quality typesetting system. All of that running on a best Operation System
GNU/Linux.
